What have I done??? That was my first thought when I realized I just sank $2,000 into an investment called DRIP and couldn’t sell it all immediately.
How could I be so careless as to not to read the fine print on this? I have been investing in Crypto since 2017, and have made and lost a fortune at least two times, but recently had a couple solid wins with $VET and $DOGE.
It was July 2021, and I was intrigued about a new Binance Smart Chain token called DRIP that would allow me to earn 1% on my money daily, which I could either compound or withdraw. What I didn’t fully realize was that once you deposit your DRIP tokens, you can’t get them all out at once.
Well, now that I’m stuck in this thing I might as well make the most of it. As the summer turned into the fall, I compounded my initial 25 DRIP tokens daily. Then the price of the token began to decrease from the $30 range, to the $20 range and ultimately to the single digits.
This is when I really began paying attention. I started getting active in the telegram chat, I began actively engaging in the community and reading all that I could about this investment that I was essentially “stuck” in. That’s when I realized what DRIP was all about, and how I knew my life would soon change for the better.
